With all voting centers reporting election day results, incumbent Lacey Hull has won the Republican primary for Texas House District 138.

Unofficial results posted by the Harris County Clerk's Office are as follows:
  • Hull: 8,796 votes, or 61.13%
  • Jarden Woodfill: 5,592 votes, or 38.87%
Hull will now face Democratic candidate Stephanie Morales—who is running unopposed in March—in the November general election.

"I am honored to have, once again, been elected by the voters to be the Republican nominee," Hull said in an emailed statement to Community Impact March 11. "I am proud to have run on my proven conservative record of securing the border, supporting crime victims,and protecting kids. I was to thank Gov. Abbott for his support of my re-election. I look forward to returning to Austin and continuing to work to deliver conservative victories."

With 507 of 545 voting centers reporting election day results, incumbent Lacey Hull appears to be the likely winner in the Republican primary for Texas House District 138.

While votes are still being tallied, as of 7 a.m. on March 6, voting results are as follows:
  • Hull: 8,407 votes, or 61.12%
  • Jared Woodfill: 5,347 votes, or 38.88%

With 46 of 545 voting centers reporting election day results, incumbent Lacey Hull maintains the lead in the Republican primary race for Texas House District 138.

While votes are still being tallied, as of 10:30 p.m. on March 5, voting results are as follows:
  • Hull: 5,462 votes, or 61.62%
  • Jared Woodfill: 3,402 votes, or 38.38%

Early voting results show incumbent Lacey Hull taking an early lead in the Republican primary race for Texas House District 138.

According to unofficial results published by the Harris County Clerk's Office, early voting results are as follows:
  • Hull: 5,322 votes, or 61.73% of the total
  • Jared Woodfill: 3,299 votes, or 38.27% of the total
Hull was first elected to Texas House District 138 in 2020. As previously reported by Community Impact, the district encompasses portions of the Cy-Fair area, including Jersey Village.
