After consulting with local weather authorities, Cy-Fair ISD officials announced the closure of all campuses Feb. 4 because of inclement weather. The school district's webpage states that extracurricular activities may resume at noon on Friday, and coaches and sponsors will communicate individual schedule changes for said activities. This missed school day will not need to be made up, according to the district.

All Cy-Fair ISD after-school activities will conclude by 5 p.m. on Feb. 3 due to the possibility of inclement weather, officials announced via social media. As of 1 p.m., no announcement has been made regarding classes on Friday, Feb. 4. Parents are encouraged to continue to monitor SchoolMessenger, the district's social media pages and www.cfisd.net for further updates.
