Officials with Hans’ Crawfish confirmed in a Jan. 6 Facebook post that the business would be relocating from 2920 Roadhouse in Tomball to The Barn at Frio Hill Country Grill in Cypress.

The eatery is known for its award-winning crawfish served seasonally as well as shrimp, corn, potatoes and sausage.



The background

Owned by Hans and Ashley Stevens, Hans’ Crawfish operated in Cypress for five years before relocating to 15920 FM 2920, Tomball, for the 2022 crawfish season, Community Impact previously reported.


In April, Hans’ officials said the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office notified them they would need to close their location. The business then moved to 2920 Roadhouse for the remainder of the 2024 season.



What to expect

Hans’ Crawfish will be open Thu.-Fri. 5-9 p.m., Sat. 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. for the 2025 crawfish season.


The Barn at Frio offers indoor and outdoor seating, live music, a full bar and a food menu inspired by the Texas Hill Country.
