A new location of SweetCup Gelato & Sorbet Originale is slated to open soon in Cypress, officials confirmed in a news release.

On the menu

Officials said the new location will have 48 rotating flavors of gelato, sorbet, gelato custard and frozen yogurt, including:

Stracciatella
Pistachio
Italian wedding cake
Vanilla bean tres leches
Rose milk

What else?

The Montrose-based gelato shop was founded in 2012. Pints are offered at several Whole Foods locations in the region and at Central Market locations across the state, according to the website.

“Our goal has always been to create a welcoming space where families and friends can come together to enjoy our unique flavors that represent Houston’s diverse culinary scene,” owner Jasmine Chida said in the release. “I’m grateful to be partnering with our first franchisees that actually live in Cypress and believe in our product and wanted to share something unique with this special community.”
