Mariposa Park and Sunfish Park at Prairieland Village
Prairieland Village, Bridgeland’s third village with 7,000 homesites, is expanding its green space with Mariposa Park and Sunfish Park this spring, according to the news release. These parks will feature shaded pavilions, playgrounds and prairie-style landscaping, with Sunfish Park also offering a children's splash pad.

Turtle Cove, centrally located in Bridgeland's fourth village, Creekland Village, will span nearly 16 acres of natural landscaping along a riparian corridor, aiding stormwater management and improving air and water quality, according to the news release. Lily Pad Park will serve as the village’s first major gathering space and will feature a 50-seat pavilion, a dog run, a half-basketball court and a playground surrounded by reforested trees. Both projects are set to open this fall.
Less than a mile away, Creekland residents will also have access to Mosaic Park, which opens this spring and includes a tiered pavilion and playground within a tree-lined garden.

Creekland Village will add about 3,000 homesites and introduce the 14-acre Terrapin Park. According to the news release, Terrapin Park will be designed for connectivity, health and wellness, and will feature a community center for events for up to 160 people, indoor and outdoor fitness facilities, two pools, pavilions with an outdoor kitchen and courts for basketball, tennis and pickleball. This park is slated to open in summer 2026.
