Active COVID-19 cases in Cy-Fair lowest since before Thanksgiving holiday

Fewer than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in the past seven days across the 10 ZIP codes within Cy-Fair ISD boundaries. The community had 2,379 active cases as of March 9—the lowest number of active cases since before late November, when cases began to rise amid the holiday season.

According to Harris County Public Health, Cy-Fair has had 50,785 recoveries and 275 deaths related to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic about a year ago.


Data shows there have been 360,421 total coronavirus cases in Harris County, 13,604 of which are active as of March 9. Find comprehensive data for Harris County here.
