Officials with the Harris County Flood Control District released a construction advisory May 3 regarding upcoming channel repairs for Cypress Creek.
Environmental Allies Inc. will oversee the 90-day construction process beginning this spring for an estimated cost of $230,000. The goal of the project is to address channel conveyance capacity issues and restore the channel to its original capacity design, according to the advisory.
Contractors will access the site via Enchanted Valley Drive, Mystic Bend Drive and Jarvis Road in Cypress.
