Pickle Point USA is expanding to Cypress with a new facility for pickleball, socializing and fun.
The facility will contain 11 pickleball courts, including three cushion courts, two large social areas, a party room and a flex room. Pickle Point co-founder Aeta Moin said some of the courts will be challenge-sized as the facility plans to host professional tournaments.
Pickle Point Cypress will cater to avid pickleball enthusiasts while also providing a welcoming space for beginners, Moin said. The business offers a free Pickleball 101 class, allowing anyone to walk in, schedule a session and begin learning from one of Pickle Point USA's coaches.
"It's a great place for young folks to play," Moin said. "We also have junior programs, junior academies [and] summer camps for kids. ... We also host junior tournaments."
