Planet Fitness is set to open at
Lakewood Forest Shopping Center. According to a project registration with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the 30,577-square-foot space is under construction to renovate a former retail space. With the project beginning in May, the fitness center is expected to be completed by Sept. 15, according the the
TDLR filing.
Planet Fitness is a chain of fitness centers across the nation. The gym specializes in providing a safe environment where anyone can be comfortable working on their fitness goals, according to the website.
