According to the agenda for the Nov. 6 work session and Nov. 10 regular meeting, CFISD staff will present reports on:
- Monthly progress from the Long-Range Planning Committee, responsible for evaluating the district’s future infrastructure needs
- CFISD’s Virtual Pathways Program for the 2026-27 school year
- Progress of the district’s 2024-2029 Strategic Plan, specifically related to human resources objectives, including teacher retention and compensation
- The district’s goal to increase the four-year graduation rate by 1% each year
Also of note
The board will also hold a public hearing at the start of the Nov. 6 work session to discuss the district’s 2023-24 state financial accountability rating. CFISD scored 98 out of 100 possible points, a "superior achievement," according to Texas Education Agency reports.
Both meetings are scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Mark Henry Administration Building at 11440 Matzke Road, Cypress.
