The lab focuses on health and wellness, and does not require an order from a physician for testing. They offer B-12 injections for $10 for first-time guests. They perform DNA testing, thyroid panels and STD testing. They also help employers manage pre-employment, department of transportation, and random drug/alcohol/background screening.
The first location Buckland opened is located at 2520 Research Forest Drive, Ste. 400, in The Woodlands.
“I come from an HR background and understand the pain points of businesses hiring and trying to get background, drug and alcohol testing completed effectively and efficiently. I also saw, working with employer benefits, most insurance plans require a diagnosis of an illness before they will cover lab tests. I wanted to be able to offer affordable testing for those individuals that are focused on health and wellness,” Buckland said in an email.
