Houston Restaurant Weeks kicked off Aug. 1 with an array of restaurants offering two-, three- and four-course prix fixe meal options for brunch, lunch and dinner through Sept. 4.

Participating restaurants will make donations based on sales from these special menus, according to a news release. This event has raised $18.8 million to date, providing 56.4 million meals for the Houston Food Bank.

A portion of the proceeds from each meal will be donated to the Houston Food Bank, helping to provide meals for those in need.
  • Dinner: $55 meal price, $7 donation, generates 21 meals
  • Dinner: $39 meal price, $5 donation, generates 15 meals
  • Brunch: $25 meal price, $3 donation, generates nine meals
  • Lunch: $25 meal price, $3 donation, generates nine meals
“I am very excited as we head into the 20th year of HRW,” Cleverley Stone Foundation President Katie Stone said in the release. “Since my mother began HRW, now 20 years ago, it has exceeded her wildest dreams. Its impact on the restaurant industry and the city of Houston has been phenomenal.”
