A new location of Urban Bird Hot Chicken is slated to open at Cypress Village Station, located at the intersection of Hwy. 290 and Skinner Road, officials with NewQuest Properties announced in an April 18 news release.

Owner Brandon Gawthorp confirmed construction has started, and the new location is expected to open in September or October.

Urban Bird offers Nashville-style hot chicken with a menu of tenders, sandwiches, fries, macaroni and cheese, waffles and street corn. The eatery has one other Cy-Fair location at 12719 FM 1960, Houston, as well as locations in Katy and Spring. www.urbanbirdhotchicken.com
