TxDOT partners with Lyft to give $20 credit through Jan. 9

According to a Dec. 19 Facebook post by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, the Texas Department of Transportation, Governor's Highway Safety Association and http://responsibility.org have partnered with Lyft rideshare company to offer Montgomery County and Harris County residents a $20 credit this holiday season.

According to the post made by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, the partnership was launched to “keep the holidays safe this year by riding, not driving, when drinking this season.”

Participants can scan the QR code on the flyer or use code TXDOTS20. The offer is valid through Jan. 9.
