The coffee chain Dutch Bros. Coffee is working on opening a location in Willis, a company spokesperson told Community Impact Newspaper. The Texas Department of Licensing and Registration shows the company has listed an address at 908 W. Montgomery St. for a 950-square-foot drive-thru coffee shop.
The company did not have a specific timeline available but said the location is planned to open in 2023. Dutch Bros. serves specialty coffees, smoothies, teas, freezes, energy drinks and nitrogen-infused cold brews.
Dutch Bros. has opened new locations in Cypress, Tomball and throughout the Houston area. According to a presentation on its investor website, the Oregon-based company estimates opening at least 130 locations either operated by the company or franchised in 2022.
