Carlson Gracie Houston opens new Conroe jiu-jitsu school

Carlson Gracie Houston, a jiu-jitsu school, opened June 29 at its new and improved location at 1210 S. Frazier St., Conroe, Program Manager John Bailey said. Previously located on North Frazier Street, the facility offers instruction for children, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and muay thai.

A grand opening will be held July 12 at 2 p.m.

The new facility is three times as big as the old one and has more mat space, Bailey said. There are three Carlson Gracie teams in Texas, with the Conroe location representing the Houston branch. 936-447-9321.
