The details
According to the agenda packet, commissioners will discuss several resolutions authorizing the financing and reimbursement agreements for each precinct in Montgomery County for the 2025 road bond initiative. The reimbursement resolution was part of an effort made by commissioners in late May to begin work on shovel-ready bond projects as soon as possible by using county funds which will be reimbursed from bond funds.
In most precincts, work on road bond projects has already begun. including shoulder replacement projects in The Woodlands and road widening efforts in New Caney, commissioners said.
Following the bond discussion, Precinct 4 Commissioner Matt Gray also placed an item on the agenda to discuss "next steps for law enforcement pay equity with other governmental entities."
