Between 2018-2023, the education levels and median household income within the boundaries of Conroe, Montgomery and Willis ISDs has increased, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2023 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates released Dec. 12.

The gist

Within the boundaries of CISD, MISD and WISD, the percentage of people aged 25 with high school diplomas and bachelor’s degrees rose, according to the U.S. Census data.

In CISD, the percentage of people with high school diplomas or bachelor’s degrees is 91.4% and 44%, respectively. In MISD, 95.2% of people have high school diplomas and 42.8% have bachelor’s degrees. In WISD, those numbers sit at 87.7% and 28.4%, respectively.Diving in deeper

The median household income also saw increases between 2018-23, according to the data. In MISD, the median household income jumped from $84,097 to $118,445. Meanwhile, the median income within CISD’s boundaries increased from $81,113 to $98,854 while in WISD it rose from $61,269 to $82,775.
