What's happening?

According to a news release, first responders will be practicing how to respond to a real-time, full-scale terrorist attack during a four-hour live practice.

The exercise will simulate a complex coordinated terrorist attack scenario, allowing emergency response agencies, law enforcement and other relevant stakeholders to test their coordination, communication and response strategies, according to the release.

Officials said residents should not be alarmed by numerous emergency vehicles and personnel at or near The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Oct. 26.
