Morgan Luttrell appears the likely winner of the Republican primary for the U.S. Representative District 8 seat, held by Kevin Brady, R-The Woodlands, who did not seek re-election. Following the 2020 redistricting process, District 8 spans Polk, San Jacinto, Walker, Harris and Montgomery counties.
