Two new principals and two new administrators were approved by Montgomery ISD’s board of trustees April 23.

The details

Julie Roth will serve as Montgomery Junior High School’s principal, and Jewel Tucker will lead Madeley Ranch Elementary. According to an April 23 news release from MISD:
  • Roth was previously the associate principal at Montgomery High School and has two decades of educational experience.
  • Tucker previously served as the assistant principal at Madeley Ranch and has 15 years of experience as an educator.
  • Roth’s role was previously held by Angie Chapman, who is retiring at the end of the 2023-24 school year.
  • Tucker will be filling the spot left by Shelby Smith who will be leading the new Creekside Elementary when it opens in August.
What else?

Brad Mansfield was named MISD’s chief facilities and operations officer, while Albert Rosales-Korrea will be the assistant superintendent of communications and public relations. According to the news release:
  • Mansfield served as a director at Willis ISD since 2021 and has 26 years of educational experience.
  • Rosales-Korrea has worked in industries that include “medical, city government and business” and for school districts in Portland, Oregon, San Antonio, Austin, Spring and Hidalgo.
