Rankin, a self-taught baker, also managed Flour-Ish, in Conroe in 2017. The bakery closed down after the cafe lost its clientele post-COVID-19, Rankin said. Though the business was not able to continue, its recipes have now been carried on to Nourish Cafe, where Rankin continues to offer baked goods.

Known as the lunch spot for customers at the building's other businesses, which include a gym, chiropractor office and massage therapy office, Rankin said the cafe is a hidden gem that has earned many regulars.
The health-centered businesses often collaborate to hold health expos and other health-related events while promoting their services.
“All the businesses kind of like to help each other out here and it's a really cool little community,” Rankin said.
On the menu
Known for its drinks, including its house lemonades and cold brews, Nourish Cafe focuses on providing homemade offerings. Of its lemonades, the strawberry basil is the most popular.
Other offerings include baked goods such as cookies and a cake of the week with gluten-free options. Rankin said the brown butter chocolate chip cookie and the lemon lavender shortbread are the top-selling desserts.
For lunch, the eatery serves sandwiches and salads, with the turkey avocado sandwich being the top-selling sandwich.

The eatery offers seasonal menu options to provide quality seasonal ingredients. Rankin said Nourish Cafe’s fall menu can be expected to launch in September.
