Benihana is celebrating its grand opening July 13 in Conroe at 3061 I-45 N. The Japanese teppanyaki restaurant provides guests a front-row seat to observe skilled chefs as they prepare a variety of traditional Japanese dishes, including hibachi steak, chicken, seafood and specialty items.

“By crafting a fun, distinctive dining experience at each Benihana restaurant, we strive to create a special connection with our guests and neighbors and invite them on our culinary journey," Conroe General Manager Andrew Kim said in a June 28 news release.

According to the release, the restaurant features 17 teppanyaki tables and an expansive sushi and cocktail bar. Guests can also enjoy a full bar with a selection of sake, wine and spirits.

"We are thrilled to join the Conroe community and introduce our iconic Japanese menu alongside the Benihana experience people have come to know and love," Benihana CEO and President Tom Baldwin said in the release. "As we welcome new and familiar guests to our restaurant, we look forward to playing an integral part in creating great memories for our valued guests.”

The restaurant is also connected with delivery services such as Uber Eats, Postmates, Grubhub, DoorDash, Favor and EZCater and also offers online ordering. Benihana's Conroe location marks the fifth Benihana restaurant in the Greater Houston area—in addition to Sugar Land, downtown Houston, The Woodlands and Westheimer Road.
