Kofe Num Pang held a soft opening June 2. The Asian cafe is located at 330 N. Main St., Conroe. The menu includes items such as boba milk teas and espresso-based craft coffee as well as food, such as chicken lamb and banh mi. Owner San Cheng said there will be a grand opening in July, when the first 100 visitors will get a card for free coffee and tea for a year.

“It means a lot to us; it's mainly for the kids to let them see they can do anything they want to do if they put their mind to it,” Cheng said. “The community is a big reason as to why we opened as well, a place where we can bring culture and not just another coffee spot. There's nobody else in the square that offers what we offer.”
