Foster Creek Ranch, a new land development led by CEO Christopher Boone in Willis, acquired over 1,500 acres of land to develop 600 homesites ranging from 1.5 to 5 acres, according to a June 11 news release.

What to know

Foster Creek Ranch values preserving nature while fostering a setting where families can thrive, according to the news release. Ponds and forest trails will be constructed to enhance biodiversity and encourage outdoor recreation.

The community will include a 25-foot no-cut buffer to preserve the native forest edge and support local ecosystems. Forest Creek Ranch is also surrounded by outdoor destinations like Lake Conroe, Lake Livingston and the Sam Houston National Forest, according to the news release.

The company anticipates breaking ground in July, following approval of all required permits, according to the news release.
