The Signorelli Company announced March 15 the development of Caney Mills, a new residential community set to be located off Willis Waukegan Road just north of Hwy. 105. At approximately 265 acres, Caney Mills is planned to offer over 1,000 homesites across various phases, according to the company news release. The community is zoned to Conroe ISD. The master plan also includes a 2-acre site dedicated to recreational use as well as acres designated as green space. Builders, a grand opening date and amenities for the Caney Mills community will be announced in the coming months.
Town Creek Crossing
A large tract of land is being cleared at Buffalo Springs Planned Development, located near Lone Star Parkway in Montgomery. This addition includes 199 residential homesites and eight commercial reserves, according to city documents. Site work is underway, and construction of homes is expected to begin this summer.
Hills of Town Creek Subdivision
This subdivision, located immediately west of Town Creek Apartments along Emma's Way, has a total of 100 single-family homesites, according to city documents. As of Feb. 23, 65 homes are complete, 19 are under construction, and 13 lots are available. Plans for a new 30-lot section have been approved, and site development work for roads and utilities has begun.
Venetian Pines
Pricing and floor plans have been announced for Venetian Pines, a new residential community underway in Conroe near Airport Road and Loop 336. Pricing will start in the low $200,000s. Chesmar Homes and Empire Communities are offering 19 floor plans ranging from 1,502 to 2,409 square feet. Home sales are expected to begin in May.
