The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County has announced plans to expand METRORapid lines along the University Corridor, affecting the Alief, Third Ward and Gulfton neighborhoods.

The new METRORapid project is a bus rapid transit line running over 25 miles between the Westchase Park & Ride near the intersection of Westpark and Sam Houston Tollway, and the Tidwell Transit Center near the intersection of Tidwell Road and Hwy. 59.

The city is looking for community input at the following times and places:
