West University Place is offering residents an opportunity to see, firsthand, how their city completes its day-to-day operations with the rollout of its Citizens Academy program.

Communications Manager Bianca Cuccerre oversees the program and said in an email to Community Impact that the academy is an opportunity for residents to get a behind-the-scenes look into how they receive city services.

"Participants will have the chance to meet and hear from staff experts who oversee these operations, as well as learn about the meticulous efforts involved in keeping the city running on a day-to-day basis," Cuccerre said.
