Houston First Corporation is reintroducing the free "Party on the Plaza" concert series in May. The free concert series will feature a lineup of artists, musicians and tribute bands every Friday in the month of May, starting May 3. This Friday will feature EZ Band, a group of Latin American musicians performing Hispanic regional music.

West University Place centennial celebration
City officials are inviting residents and guests to come out to Colonial Park for a celebration featuring live music from the band Hybrid 7, food trucks and children's activities as the city celebrates its 100th anniversary. City officials are encouraging residents to walk, bike or carpool to the event as well as bring reusable water bottles.

Artists of First Saturday Arts Market are preparing for their last market of the season before taking off for the summer.
