Parlor Doughnuts is a craft doughnut and coffee shop offering an array of unique bakery items. Founded by Darrick Hayden in 2019 starting in Evansville, Indiana, Parlor Doughnuts has expanded to over 50 shops throughout the United States, with another Houston location in the Heights.
Instead of using the traditional yeast or cake-style doughnuts, Parlor Doughnuts' are unique in that the store uses layered dough to create a crisp on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside doughnut, with a wide arrange of flavors and toppings.
Parlor Doughnuts offers more than 20 unique layered doughnuts, as well as seasonal and secret menu options. Flavored layered doughnuts include:
- Maple bacon
- Bourbon caramel
- Campfire
- Peanut butter cup
- Churro
- Strawberry shortcake
- Raspberry jelly filled
Parlor Doughnuts also serves vegan, gluten and keto friendly doughnuts, and breakfast items like açaí bowls, avocado toast, bacon breakfast taco and sausage biscuit breakfast sandwich.
Customers can pair their doughnuts or breakfast items with beverages such as energizers, lattes, blended coffee, refreshers, teas and old-fashioned sodas.
