HiFi at The Finn celebrated its official grand opening on June 27 in Downtown Houston.

Branded as a "Tokyo-inspired listening lounge," the vinyl and craft cocktail bar is described as a chef-driven, multicultural dining destination on the ground floor of the historic Jones on Main Street.

In a nutshell

According to a June 26 news release, the bar program at HiFi is developed by Terra Velasquez, Finn's food and beverage director, and includes sips such as:
  • Tokyo Mule: Vodka, lime, ginger beer and Fever Tree tonic
  • Midnight Matcha: Still gin, matcha, lemon, rice and sparkling sake
  • Penicillin: Blended scotch, Matsui single malt, ginger and local honey
Per the release, the cocktail lounge selection was chosen to complement the lounge's analog audio atmosphere. Analog audio refers to a continuous representation of sound waves using physical signals like electrical current or mechanical vibrations, according to Audioengine.

Entertainment at the lounge will include live vinyl DJ sets, theme nights, secret menus and record-inspired keepsakes.
