On the Kirb opened a Greenway Plaza location on Jan. 10, according to a Jan. 9 news release.

The organic eatery and sports bar opened its fourth Houston location at Greenway Plaza, with three other locations in Kirby, Midtown and Katy.

The sports bar offers fresh local produce, organic meats and organic, free-range dairy and poultry. The Greenway Plaza location will focus on keto-friendly dishes, such as a cod special and kabob plate to low-carb salads and a large cheese board, rotating on a monthly basis. Other classic menu items include healthy wraps, as well as various burgers and tacos.

On the Kirb will also offer weekend brunch, serving egg skillets, pancakes and avocado toast, per the release. The Greenway location will roll out the Brunch Board, which features various brunch favorites displayed on a large board for sharing.

The bar program includes an eclectic selection of organic wines, local beers on draft, seasonal craft cocktails and breakfast cocktails.


“We are proud to continue to expand to meet the needs of the growing health-foods movement," owner Joe Arbeely said in the release. "We focus on organic, chef-inspired, low-carb dishes and elevate the classics like pizzas, wings, burgers and steaks by organic chicken, grass-fed and grass-finished beef.”

As a sports bar, it includes features such as three 170-inch LED video walls and 25 HD TVs, as well as a bar with 20 seats. The patio is also complete with heaters and four large TVs. A private room is available for watch parties, fitting up to 14 guests seated and complete with a large television.
