Anticipated to open in summer 2024, partners Matthew Pak and Shawn Bermudez announced that The Burger Joint’s fourth Houston location will be in West University Place.
“We have been searching nonstop for the perfect space in West University for several years and believe we have found it!” Matthew Pak said in a news release. “This location will allow us to bring our burgers, fries and shakes to one of Houston’s best neighborhoods.”
The new Burger Joint location will be taking over the former Village Plumbing & Air site on 5403 Kirby Drive. The restaurant will be more than 5,000 square feet and will include a 1,600-square-foot covered and air-conditioned patio, according to the news release.
Burgers are handcrafted with 100% Angus beef, made-to-order and served medium on toasted, classic style buns, according to its website. All burgers come in a single or double patty. Burgers can be served with a variety of flavors such as barbecue, kimchi, veggie or Impossible burger.
Guests can also choose from shakes in flavors such as vanilla, strawberry, peanut butter and even “Rocket Fuel,” which is an alcoholic version, according to its website.
