Neighborhood locals have frequented The Raven Grill for casual eats, whether an evening dine-in or Sunday brunch, for 25 years since it opened at 1916 Bissonnet St., Houston, in 1998.

Owners Sara and Rob Cromie opened the restaurant in the Broadacres neighborhood March 24, 1998, according to a news release.

Since then, the restaurant has offered regional food options to guests cooked over a wood-fire grill and served in a casual, comfortable atmosphere.

The Raven Grill also has a wine list and full bar, according to the news release. The couple also own the bakery next door, Picnic, and are principal owners of Cottonwood in the Heights and La Grange, which is in Montrose.

Rob said he looks forward to giving his customers great service for years to come.

“Same as with all of our restaurants, great customer service and always, always looking for new ways to satisfy our guests with great-tasting food and a place where they’re genuinely relaxed and comfortable. That will never change,” Rob said in a news release.

New and longtime guests can choose from a number of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, tacos and pasta dishes, according to its website.
