The dealership, a $55 million investment from HGreg, will also feature a service center and guest lounge.
“We’ve been patiently awaiting this opportunity,” HGreg President and CEO John Hairabedian said in a statement. “We have had our eyes on Texas for the past few years and are delighted that our entry into the Lone Star State is founded upon such a historic location with rich and deep roots."
With locations in California, Florida and Canada, the company is known for selling used cars at affordable prices with customers having access to up to 5,000 certified preowned vehicles. Officials are looking to hire 100 full-time and part-time staff for the new Houston location, according to a Dec. 4 news release.
Other services will include same-day delivery, contactless car-buying options, a five-day money-back policy and payment by cryptocurrency, according to the release.
