Miniso

International retailer Miniso is coming to the Rice Village area in 2026.

The store will offer a collection of household and consumer goods, such as kitchenware, toys, stationary and cosmetics, with products and brands marketed towards young consumers, including Sanrio, Disney and Snoopy.

Uberrito

Known for its burritos and bowls, the Tex-Mex franchise plans to open a third location in early 2026. Uberrito offers customers a variety of choices, including four types of tortillas, three types of beans and two types of rice.

As for protein, Uberrito serves beer-battered cod, grilled shrimp, shredded beef, fajita beef, ground beef, shredded pork carnitas, grilled chicken and vegan picadillo.

Jeju Island Korean BBQ & Sushi

The Pearland restaurant plans to open a second location in the Meyerland area, serving authentic Korean barbecue and fresh sushi, as well as soups, salads and noodles.

Popular dishes listed on the website include shrimp fried rice, hibachi steak and the spicy chicken bulgogi rice plate.

Tim Hortons

The Canada-based coffee shop is renovating a former bank into a new storefront.

Tim Hortons offers cold and hot coffees, tea beverages, hot breakfast items, baked goods and seasonal options that run throughout the year.

Shake Shack

The franchise is anticipated to open a new restaurant at the Meyerland Crossing Shopping Center.

Shake Shack offers burgers, fries and shakes along with chicken sandwiches, specialty lemonades and hot dogs. The restaurant will be located in Meyerland Crossing, a 5-acre retail center currently under development near Beechnut Street and Loop 610.

Dutch Bros Coffee

Dane and Travis Boersma started Dutch Bros Coffee as a pushcart in Oregon in 1992. Now, the company is planning its fifth location in Houston.

Dutch Bros serves classic coffees and teas, along with energy drinks, shakes and seasonal drinks. Customer favorites include the Golden Eagle, a drink with espresso, caramel and vanilla breve, and the 9-1-1, which includes six shots of espresso and Irish cream breve.

Panera Bread

Panera Bread is slated to open a new location in Houston at the Meyerland Crossing shopping center, a new five-acre retail development located along I-610 nestled between Jackwood and Jason Street across from Meyerland Plaza.

The eatery serves sandwiches, pizza, soups, pastries and desserts and has several locations across the city.

By Popular Demand

Known for creating an environment similar to a living room hangout, the neighborhood bar in Memorial is planning to open a second location off Bissonet Street.

By Popular Demand offers top-shelf spirits, whiskey and bourbon, as well as fine wines, classic cocktails and beers on tap or by the bottle. Additionally, the bar has an outdoor patio with fire pits, TVs and outdoor games and serves food such as Blackened Tuna Bites and Spicy Fried Shrimp.
