The modern fabric and quilt shop opened in September and plans to host classes, workshops and events, as previously reported by Community Impact.

What they offer

Woven sells a range of craft supplies, including high-quality fabric available either precut or by the yard, tools to create bags, quilt patterns, sewing notions, needlework and gift items.

The shop will also have a workshop space to host sewing classes and birthday parties, along with other events.

A closer look

Wanting to shift from corporate to pursue her passion, founder and Bellaire resident Savreet Singh opened Woven to help others creatively, whether they are beginners or experienced sewers.

“This is my dream come true," Singh said. "I remember a few years ago telling a close friend that if I could do anything, I would want to open a quilt store that not only offered products, but more importantly, became a community shop. I want this place to be a welcoming space for all generations and experience levels—a place where it's fun to learn something new.”

According to the store’s website, Woven is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
