According to a project filing by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Dynamic Sports Medicine is building a new clinic in West University Place.

The gist

Founded in 2016 by Dr. Matt Lowe, the practice specializes in treating individuals recovering from injuries and preventing pain.

A few of the therapies implemented are cupping therapy, dry needling and myofascial acoustic compression therapy, which is used to treat musculoskeletal pain or soft tissue injuries.

The sports chiropractic care business currently has eight other locations spread throughout the Austin and Dallas areas.

Looking ahead

The new office is located off Bellaire Boulevard and will be roughly 2,400 square feet, according to the project details filed.

Construction on the new build is estimated to cost approximately $193,000 and occur from September to December. Details are subject to change.
