The Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank no longer operates at its Rice Village branch located at 2401 University Blvd., Houston.

What happened

Regional Communications Vice President Cari Hensley said in an email that customers can access the Buffalo Speedway branch located at 5275 Buffalo Speedway, Houston.

"This is part of our ongoing effort to continually optimize our physical branch network, which includes our recent announcement to invest nearly $1 billion to build new branches and renovate more than one thousand locations across the country," Hensley said.

Another PNC branch located nearby can be found at 4555 Bissonnet St., Houston.
