The Bay Area community is coming together to raise funds to rebuild Kelley’s, a restaurant destroyed by a fire on Feb. 14. Some proceeds from the annual Taste of the Bay event Oct. 6 will go toward Kelley’s restoration, as will some revenue generated by participating restaurants during a donation event Oct. 7 and 8. Located at 1502 W. Main St., League City, Kelley’s was famous for its country food and large portions. The restaurant has locations across the Greater Houston area, including Pearland and Alvin.
