Kemah has launched TextMyGov, a text messaging service that connects residents and visitors with the city.

To use TextMyGov, users do not need to download an app, but simply text “Hi” to 281-336-0123 to ask questions, report concerns or find information about city services and local attractions, according to an April 6 release from the city.
