Clear Creek ISD’s board of trustees approved an interlocal agreement with the Harris County Department of Education, or HCDE, to participate in a federally funded after-school program, following board approval at its Feb. 23 meeting.
The program, part of the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers, or CCLC, initiative, provides after-school and summer programming for the remainder of the 2025‑26 school year.

Known statewide as Texas Afterschool Centers on Education, or Texas ACE, the CCLC program is a federally funded initiative that supports students in improving reading and mathematics skills, according to the U.S. Department of Education website.
