While many eateries in the Greater Houston area struggled to adjust during the coronavirus pandemic shutdowns, Jacque Guinn, owner of MiMi J’s Kitchen in Spring, was trying out new recipes, supporting her local community and offering a product to help bring families back to the dinner table.

Free COVID-19 testing will be offered at Sterling Ridge Park and Ride in The Woodlands on June 18-21

A new COVID-19 mobile testing site will operate in The Woodlands from June 18-21.

The site, located at the Sterling Ridge Park and Ride lot at 8001 McBeth Way, will offer free testing between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Education One, a tutoring and test prep provider, opened a location at 3632 S. Hwy. 6, Sugar Land, on June 8.

Among the services the business offers are K-12 grade tutoring, SAT and ACT test prep, academic counseling, and private school and college admissions advising.
