League City is requesting local submissions for its traffic signal box wrap contest.
The gist
Hosted by the League City Public Art Initiative, the contest is open to both amateur and professional artists of all ages.
Interested participants should create and submit a design to be digitally printed on vinyl and wrapped on a traffic signal box within League City.
Participants must live or work in or within a 25-mile radius of League City. Public and private school students, community college and University of Houston-Clear Lake students, amateur artists, professional artists, photographers, and graphic designers are all encouraged to submit designs.
The deadline for submissions is Nov. 3 at 5 p.m.
