A long-standing nonprofit in Houston announced an office relocation in early August as officials move forward with a new work structure that includes a smaller office footprint.
Founded in 1904, Family Houston has spent the last 118 years working to help families with basic needs by providing services, such as on-site mental health care, veteran support and financial stability.
In an Aug. 1 press release, officials announced a relocation from their 22,000-square-foot building at 4625 Lilian St., Houston, to a new shared space at 4950 Memorial Drive, Houston.
“Our original building had so much history and sentimental value, but it was time for a change,” CEO Charly Weldon said in a statement. “Our work environment and needs have changed, and from a business perspective, it made more sense to share a space with another nonprofit that shares our passion for the Houston community.”
