Houston native chef Travis McShane will debut his new restaurant, Ostia, on Sept. 25 in a renovated space at 2032 Dunlavy St., Houston, in the Montrose area.
"At its heart, Ostia is a neighborhood restaurant, a place to hang out with friends and family to enjoy a delicious meal together whether you live around the corner or not,” McShane said in a news release.
McShane brings a range of experiences from restaurants in New York City, San Francisco, Nashville and Atlanta to his new Italian- and Mediterranean-inspired venture.
The ever-changing menu will feature a la carte meats and seafood, made-in-house pastas, salads and sides drawing from local providers as well as a selection of both new and Old World wines.
