A historic home on Heights Boulevard has reopened in May as a private events venue for wine classes, tastings and other events.
The house at 447 Heights Blvd., Houston, was purchased by Houstonians and vineyard owners Sergio and Carolina Weitzman. Since then, the couple has converted the home into a multifloor event space for groups of up to 100 people that has been dubbed SERCA wines.
A dining area with a bar and brick pizza oven can be found on the first floor along with a wraparound porch, tasting room with a fire place and a spirit tasting room found under the stairs. The third floor features a rooftop terrace and an events area where wine classes and other events can take place.
The second floor is where Carolina's architecture firm is based and also includes space for a future tenant to lease.
