Pastore Italian Kitchen is slated to open June 30 at 1180 Dunlavy St., Houston, located with the mixed-use development Regent Square.
A project from Underbelly Hospitality, Pastore will offer a seafood-forward menu inspired by cuisine on the Italian coast, according to a June 19 news release. The kitchen will be helped by Executive Chef Jeff Potts and Underbelly Hospitality Culinary Director Scott Muns.
“Pastore has been a long time in the making, and chefs Jeff and Scott have done a tremendous job in curating an incredible coastal Italian dining experience for our guests,” said Nina Quincy, director of operations for Underbelly Hospitality, in a statement. “From the design to the menu, Pastore is far different from our existing concepts."
Menu options will include a rotating seafood tower, handmade pastas and flatbreads cooked in the kitchen's hearth. A dessert program will also offer apple fritters, olive oil cake and celery root panna cotta with glazed figs and limoncello sabayon. A bar menu will focus on Italian wines, spirits and other ingredients, with cocktails such as spritzes, aperitifs, martinis and a frozen limoncello, according to the release.
