Local Foods in the Heights celebrating 7th anniversary

Local Foods in Houston Heights is celebrating its seventh anniversary Feb. 16, according to a Feb. 10 news release.

The restaurant, which opened in 2018, is celebrating its anniversary with new $7 specialty cocktails and complimentary strawberry powder-dusted lemon bars with any purchase at the Heights location on Feb. 16, while supplies last.

Local Foods Group Director of Bars Máté Hartai recently added four approachable cocktails to the diverse beverage offerings:

• Argyle: small batch vodka, cherry almond syrup (sweet and tart cherries, almond)
• Chevron: London dry gin, green goddess syrup (sugar, tarragon, mint, basil)
• Plaid: blanco tequila, blackberry, blueberry, ginger beer
• Milton’s Old Fashioned: bonded bourbon, bitters, vanilla, maple

Cocktails can be enjoyed individually or as a flight of four for $24.
