A new New York-based Italian restaurant opened Sept. 9 in Highland Village, bringing fresh and authentic pasta dishes, hand-tossed pizzas, and an array of wines and cocktails.
Located at 3974 Westheimer Road, Houston, the new eatery offers bar, tableside and patio seating in an atmosphere officials said is meant to capture the vibes of dining in Italy. It is co-founded by Sicily native Bernardo Nolfo, who also runs an Austin location that opened in 2014 and a North Dallas spot that opened in 2020.
Menu items focus on Southern Italian cooking and range from shareable antipasti to pizzas and pasta della casa and piatti forti, according to a Sept. 13 press release.
Nolfo is collaborating on the Highland Village location with Rolando Biamonte, whose family founded Numero28 in New York, as well as Marco Borghi, according to the release.
